The extras at VSpot clearly show Shay picking Becky as the second finalist, but for some reason Monique ignored Shay's decision and picked Leilene. They also have behind the scenes of the Charm School photoshoot and nobody is talking to Larissa, except for Saaphiry.

Meh, I think Leilene should've won, I think she learned more than Saaphyri did. Saaphyri just won because she's homeless.

Saaphryi was my favorite form day 1, glad she won! Leilene deserved 2nd place as well.

Becky was really boring on this show, how did she get all the way to the top 3? Shay should've had 3rd place.

True but with Saaphyri all her life she has things taken away from her. So now she finally gets rewarded. So that's why she won but it doesn't matter anyway because both Leilene & Saaphyri are great & Leilene is a winner too even though she didn't win she did learn alot.

True, but why have even have the show if they're pretty much just gonna give the money to the chick because she has no home? That kind of defeats the purpose of the whole thing since they just gave Saaphyri the money based on her financial status/living arrangement (or lack there of)

Larissa was always my favorite, without her the show would be so dull.
She picks fights with everyone which makes it more funny to watch plus she is probably the only good looking one besides Leilene.

WOW! What a great finish to this show

Leilene was amazing, I couldn't believe she pulled off a speech like that! Even though she didn't win the money, I think she has so much more confidence and promise for herself.

I'm happy that Saaphyri won! She has so much personality and she's had a really tough life. She needed that money more than anyone there. Her makeover looked wack though.

It's easy to pull a speech like Leiline's, just take a couple oral communications/improve classes. I've seen people give speeches on the spot like that without having time to prepare anything at all. She did an elegant job with presenting herself. And plus she was given time to prepare her speech. (And it looked like she had some of it written out on a card/paper) Then she's a soon-to-be actress from what I was able to tell by just a few episodes(Mainly towards the end with the prize/hook up Monique gave to her), which only added fuel to her presentation. That wasn't fake at all. If anything, she might've gotten advice/some help somewhere.

Saaphyri may be perceived as a charity case, but she appropriately worked her way to winning that prize from what I watched. Even though her speech may not have been 100% "charming", she spoke from the heart. And with that aspect in hand to charity/giving to those less fortunate are each (related?) themes of the show. - Even though it did/may have contradicted the main goal of the show to award a prize to the one who displayed her education from Charm School the most.
But I would like to see all 3 final speeches.

And kudos to Becky. She kicked ass.
