40. KE$HA - Take It Off
Making her first appearance on the chart and opening up the top forty is one of this year's best new artist, Ke$ha. I loved this track. Not one of my favorites from
"Animal" but it was still hot. And that just shows how good that album really was.
39. MIGUEL - All I Want Is You f/ J.Cole
Did I say "Can't Be Friends" was the best R&B song of the year? Yeah, I lied because it has NOTHING on this song. Everything from the production to his vocals to J.Cole is ace. I wish it would have got more attention but oh well, still a great track.
38. KID CUDI - Pursuit of Happiness f/ MGMT
I still can't get over this production. So EPIC! Makes you feel like you're in space.
37. WIZ KHALIFA - Black & Yellow
And bitches love me cause i'm ****in' with they best friends! This hasn't even been out that long and has already made it's way into the Top 40. That' just how much I love it. Everything a commercial rap track should be. Take notes Drake, he's actually crapping all over your entire album with one song.
36. TREY SONGZ - Neighbors Know My Name
Just one of the many gems from Trey Songz's last album
"Ready". There is not one flaw about this one, even the video was flawless. He really had me hooked during this era.
35. ROSCOE DASH - All The Way Turnt Up f/ Soujla Boy
If this isn't one of the best club bangers of the YEAR...when this comes on you just have to get up and get stupid. Crack.
34. B.O.B. - Nothin' On You f/ Bruno Mars
I fell in love with this the first I heard it, Bruno Mars sounded so freaking hot. It eventually got really old though. There's only so many times I can hear this on the radio....
33. DJ KHALED - All I Do Is Win (Remix) f/ EVERYBODY
All I do is win, ain't that the reason that you really mad? Undisputed, hailing all the way from Trinidad. I ain't ma, I see you on ya bummy swag. I'm in that money green JAG, lotta money bags. I told Khaled you the best, but I'm the bestest. Butter run for cover if your name is on my checklist. You can talk slick all the way down to the welfare. Ask the IRS bitch, I'm payin for ya healthcare!
That is all.
32. KANYE WEST - Power
The production alone could get it on this chart. Flawless record. This got me so excited about his new album...
31. USHER - There Goes My Baby
Words can't describe how much I love this song. It makes me feel all types of ways when I listen to it. Usher really delivered back to back to back this year. Even though he rarely disappoints me anyways.
Based on my raw opinion.
9.
Christina Aguilera - Bionic
Key Tracks:
Vanity
Elastic Love
Bionic
Weirdly, NONE of her singles made my year end list but her album did. When it flopped, everybody wanted to throw it under the bus. I don't think the album is bad at all. Outside of that ballad block, it's very tolerable. Christina hits the home run with "Vanity". The song is so dated, the production is so messy, the lyrics are kind of horrible, but it all WORKS. I don't know, it's kind of weird that I really like the song.
