He didn't confirm that she was releasing soon. He said, "I'm sure you'll be seeing and hearing from her soon," which is just a nice way of saying, "Ehh..... we haven't heard from her." Besides, she hasn't been in the studio (and before anyone says, "well she could be recording privately," Miley always makes it known when she's working on an album).
She was seen at RCA today, so his statement isn't that shaky, but still. I wouldn't expect anything coming.
