Same, that is why I wish she would have handled this album in a way like KL, have like 6 The Dream & Tricky songs and the rest of the album by other producers. Imagine Mike Will Made It, Darkchild, Pharrell, Ricky Reed etc.
But oh well, aslong as we finally get that 2nd album, I will be happy.
It is odd that I always screamed about a cohensive album by a team of the same people, but I am not really pleased by what we got so far, I hope the full album will convince me this was indeed a good choice
Creating a cohesive album does not necessarily mean working with just 1 producer. The music should just mesh well together. She can have 13 tracks by 13 different producers and still create a cohesive sound.
I would love it if she had included some Mike will made it tracks or even One More Shot and Pretty.
These 2 tracks seem to fit with the sound she's going for with this album.
Based on that 20 second LQ snippet we got from One More Shot, i think it could have been my favorite track by Nicole. Its instantly catchy, sassy and sexy vocals and the production sound top notch.

IK, but I always screamed about her needing people to guid her etc. through an album, which she basically had this time haha, it's odd that she is doing a lot that I wanted her to do, but it's underwhelming so far. Pretty and OMS indeed would fit, and the odd thing is that Pretty is much more instant and catchy than her current single choice

Probably her best song she's ever recorded..Babyface is an amazing songwriter. That song would've smashed and we all know this.

If you work with two people who still have to find the spark they had once together and you are also lost yourself what kind of sound you to represent than it is logical on one side that thinsg could either be overwhelming or underwhelming.

Yeah. Maybe by album two, she'll be alright. But I do belie e there are songs far superior than YL & OTR... We'll see...

The video is AMAZING, she looks epic in it as usual but the video version of the song is what I don't like. I prefer the radio version, it's miles better.

Not MTV EMAs boycotting her and not nominating her for the best World Stage act and nominating Kiesza who performed two songs only It just shows she doesn't have strong people behind her.

kiesza is an indie artist so she has no one behind her, but she has a huge HIT song
Even Dizzee Rascal is nominated for the Best WS and she performed like 10 songs and they ignored her. B.O.B, RedFoo - all nominated. And it's a fact that she doesn't have someone powerful to stand behind her, this just proves it. Maybe they update the list, since I see some new names on the list now.
