I am here for this smart marketing. It definitely has the potential to sustain success for an extended period of time. Any of the songs on the albums would perform excellent as singles. I hate the fact that we won't get a new album for two years though, as much as I loved TD the fact I had to stretch it for this long was painful.
Katy might not be my cup of tea but we all must admit she's a force to be reckoned with on the front of commercial slayage. I have a feeling she will become a musical legend in the upcoming decade or two.
I wish more artists did that tbh. P!nk, Gaga, Rihanna, Britney, Bey, Taylor, Ke$ha, Bruno, and a whole lot more have had albums with the potential to garner 5-7 top ten hits, but since they don't have the wonderful people at Capitol to help guide them...

The only that could apply are GGGB:R & TF(M) and those 2 were milked.
She's getting older and might want kids soon, I don't want her to retire with so few albums. But we'll see.
