Im indifferent about Maurice, but my fiance bought this.album and we listened to it together. It was painful. There are a couple of gems, but for the most part I couldn't connect to the songs that were mostly mediocre at best. I do appreciate that he does try to expand his sound, but most of the time it doesn't really work for him. I do think the album is **** but its not a 38. It deserves at least a 50 and at most a 60; however, lets not act like Chris is the only artist who gets judged on character rather than just his body of work. Most of them do including his ex and Lady GaGa. It just goes to show that critics don't hold water, for the most part. Most of them are probably delusional, biased stans like half of ATRL.
