Nah I don't see that coming. "R.I.P" did what they wanted to do in the Uk and now they are putting in the money and effort for "How We Do" and so far it's working. She'll be here for a while. I think a more R&B route would be dope for her. Her voice is too good for "R.I.P." and "How We DO". However, two of the demos I heard for album tracks are dope and I'd like her to steer more in those directions. I'm excited to see how she grows though. I hated Rihanna's first album but the finally got her right by the third album. I'm interested to see how Rita grows as well.

Rihanna at least had "Pon de Replay" on her first album, which was a breakout hit and did very well in the U.S. and Europe. That suggested that there was something worth investing in.
Jay-Z won't continue putting in money towards an artist if the return is not great enough. It's a profit driven business.
