Everything on Killer Love is better than PCD's songs. Yes, Right There and Wet sound a bit like like songs Rihanna's released, but what else? People on ATRL claim Nicole's solo efforts are "basic" and unoriginal, but, if anything, PCD's music was. There was nothing original about PCD's music (especially Doll Domination) nor was it very different from the rest of the R&B-pop songs coming out in the mid 2000s. I'm guessing this opinion is coming out the fact that PCD's songs were actually played on the radio and no one here's actually been spoon fed any of Nicole's solo songs other than Whatever U Like. I can sit through all of KL, but not PCD or DL.
of course,I heard, even more than once
no,hell to the no,PCD songs were unique,I'm not saying that her solo is bad,I'm just saying
that she was making better music back then, and stay away from Rihanna.
I hope it wasn't a shade. And about the radio thing,I'm not listening to it,so it didn't change anything.
And don't get me wrong,I like Killer Love, but when Nicole was in PCD,there was something special,
now it's gone. But I'm going to give Killer Love another try
I wouldnt really say that. Puakenikeni is ok. Poison, Killer Love, Right There, Dont Hold Your Breath, Say Yes, Wet, Club Banger Nation and Amenjena are miles better.

I like Killer Love but Puakenikeni is one of that songs that deserved to shine... I love that song...
The direction that Nicole was going with 'Her Name Is Nicole' the right direction... 'Supervillain' , 'Baby Love' , 'Whatever You Like' , 'Puakenikeni'... They are all good songs...
I still wish Bite the Dust was a single, I LOVE all their videos and single choices, but Bite the Dust could also have smashed, it was a radio single here in Holland though!

And... Maybe i'll lie here but I believe I remember some yellow video introducing the dolls... And Bite The Dust was the song used... Music video worthy !!!!!

It didnt really attract an audience though.
Whatever U Like was too urban and dark, then she came out with Baby love, a cheesy pop track. Completely opposite songs.
There are definitely some GEMS in Her Name Is Nicole.
Save Me From Myself, Just Say Yes, Happily Never After, Whatever U Like, Super Villain.
Btw, J-esper, do u have that video of Kara Diogardi in the studio where we can hear a bit of Love Like This?
You guys should give a listen. Its like Whatever U Like pt2
The original version of Baby Love is so bad IMO. I prefer the JR Rotem remix on Doll Domination.

Killer Love is good, PCD is okay and Doll Domination isn't.

'Puakenikeni' ***** all over the majority of Killer Love...
No, just no. Her Name is Nicole was scrapped for a reason.

But PCD songs were not unique at all! What is unique about StickWitU and When I Grow Up? The only difference I see is that recycling is more apparent now (the music in Wet sounds just like Only Girl; producers are so lazy nowadays) and back then PCD was in the forefront so the R&B/pop sound was associated with them.
And I didn't like KL at first either. I only kept listening to it because I feel sorry for her. I don't even use most of PCD and DL anymore (I didn't even download DL until recently and don't bother listening to most of it anymore).
It was just hard though. I mean, people mock her for her last name. Releasing Puakenikeni as an actual single would be too much for them.
Back to the appreciation:
BREATHTAKING vocals by ms Scherzinger. That ending gave me so much life.
Halo is one of Timbaland's best productions.
Ignorant people...
I can honestly say that 'Halo' is one of the best songs (if not the best) in Doll Domination... It's so haunting and perfect... Amazing...
