Like, I've never heard a song like Music before, and is one of the most unique #1s ever, and definitely on this list. I was thinking that the Timbaland songs are the only competition in terms of creativity/innovation.

I didn't know lyrical depth had anything to do with innovation. Music has fine lyrics for what it's for. The lyrics are extremely clever. Who else would reference the French Revolution in a disco song?

It takes a disco/electropop and puts it into a hip hop format where it's just a collage of beats. It's gorgeous and it was the song that made me stan for her so I hold it very dearly and will not tolerate any shade towards it.

I guess this is another one that everyone saw coming except for me. I really like this song, probably because I really like Ke$ha. It's a fun party song, it sounds sort-of fresh, and while the video was -ahem- the worst, I still like this song a lot. Damn shame.
