Yep, mine caps out at like 450 Kb/s, which is fine since I don't download much, but the line is pretty wonky, plus it's wireless so I can never have the bandwidth to myself.... unless I change the wi-fi password, which I usually do when I want to play League of Legends without having ridiculous ping spikes.

I'm thinking of getting a new computer optimized for gaming early this year (probably around March) but I don't know where to start.

I was planning on building one myself, but I know nothing about computer hardware.

OMG SAME!

I am a newbie as well and I'm planning on building a PC just because my laptop sucks and I think investing on a desktop will be better budget wise in the long run just because it can be upgraded unlike laptops when they're slow you just throw then in the bin since there's no use of them anymore

There are a lot of youtube videos on how to build a rig. I suggest you watch them or go to gilmore, pick the parts and have them build it for you.

Yep, I can feel my laptop starting to die downE. I plan on giving this to my mom when I finally have my desktop ~~but I have to remove all the p0rn first.~~

I also plan on upgrading my internet connection after getting my desktop, and I'd like to look for options as early as now. What's the best ISP as far as gaming goes? Is it still PLDT? I've heard Globe isn't very reliable, and Digitel/SUN has pretty bad signal on my location.

previously my cap was at 400 kbps then idk suddenly it just dropped

It's wireless too so sometimes ang choppy ng connection.. it could not even get to 100

I can ask some masters on TPC about your rig.

I just need your:

1. Budget
2. What you do with your PC (gaming, multi-tasking, watching movies etc. etc.) and if you'd prefer an AMD build or an Intel build
3. Do you need a monitor or just a CPU

My laptop is **** now. I'm giving it 2 months max
