That cancellation truly ****ing sucks. Almost everyone here are arguing that there are worse and more explicit local acts in the country who deserve the same treatment (which is true), but that's not the issue. This is censorship and it truly shows how socially deserted this pothole of a country is. Democracy? Never existed in this country and it seems to be going extinct in entertainment and arts. Protect children from immoral behavior? How about you ****ers RAISE the children you had at 13 y/o and stop pretending a little girl sticking her tongue out in a two hour show (which probably was going to be towed down a bit) poses any real threat to the country? Or are you that weak that you can't even form responsible human beings able to make their own decisions and not be influenced so easily by a pop star? Too bad you can't even put those kids up for adoption to better parents, that's basically throwing them on the streets (or to their grandmother, which is worse).
Responsible people who want to go must be allowed to and those who don't want to go won't even notice the show happened. And to think there are people who agree with this set back in freedom of expression and democracy (not surprised given how politicians have been ****ing over people ever since this insignificant piece of island became a country), who weren't even going to the show and would probably be fine with any kind of censorship even if it affects them because, you know... anything to preserve this so-called "morality" Dominicans are lately so obsessed with defending while getting drunk out of their butt and beating their wives.
