Pebe is just very protective of her daughter, and understandably so. Do you expect her to just sit on the sidelines and watch as she gets used by Dr. Luke and not do anything? Ke$ha can't really do anything because she's signed a contract with him, whereas Pebe can...

In saying that I agree that Twitter certainly isn't the best way to go about addressing these issues...

Maybe this is what's bothering me about Pebe's involvement in all of this. Her constant tweeting about Luke being Kesha's downfall just makes it feel like she has ulterior motives. That said, I think it's good that she's sticking up for her daughter since Kesha clearly is not able to herself (possibly due to contractual binds). But I feel like if Luke is really as bad as she says, and they really want people to get behind them on this free Kesha movement, they need to stop with the ambiguous tweets and replies. Come out and tell people straight up what's going on. The way they're going about it makes it seem like they're hiding something. Peyote want to hear from Kesha, not a third party.

This isn't a matter to discuss with the fans. This isn't fuel for the #FreeKe$ha campaign. Pebe's attention is entirely misplaced. Yes, she has reason to be angry if Luke's treatment of Ke$ha's has somehow precipitated this issue, but that's a battle for another day. Let's focus on Ke$ha's recovery and spend our time helping her through this process, Peebs.
