I bet that's one reason why she's not charting like she used to (that and because iTunes charts now include streams too, right?). I know she pushing folks to get that USB necklace....but sis, you are reducing your exposure by pushing people to buy that instead of having a regular video for the masses.

Yeah, I saw that after my post. But still not everybody has a VR headseat (luckily I do). Although it's innovative, it's still limiting to the masses. Only bad thing about "being ahead of the trends".
Maybe the 2D companion version will drop soon (like the NAT video).
Just think that most music blogs aren't going to post the VR link...and judging based on the view count...I'm probably right. lol. And that just reduces the visibility/awareness that her album dropped today.
Not to spoil the mood...because this is an AMAZING ALBUM and I'm so happy it's out. So we'll just see how this plays out.
The production on here is top notch! It's much better than her last album. I think it may be her best. Though, I am still in love with Goldenheart. Come through, Dawn!!!

I still consider Goldenheart her magnus opus but this may be a very close 2nd. Can't decide if I prefer it to blackheart just yet.
I'd like to just sit down one day and hear the entire tirlogy from start to finish. She did it guys. I'm so proud.
I like Machinedrum but his production is TOO much on this. Also the heaps of the structures on this album, are very messy. I'm sure it will grow on me though.
Blackheart > Whiteout > Goldenheart = Infrared > Armour On
I can't decide what songs are my favorite Probably "Interim/Renegades", "Tyrants", and "The Lourve", but I also love "Lilies", "Lazarus", and "Black Crimes" . To be honest, there isn't a track I don't like on here!!! Dawn slaying me again. "Tyrants" is my most played - already more than "Renegades" and I bought that when it came out
LA and Tyrants are my favorites, but the whole album is great. My USB came and I don't think I realized how lyrically sparse her material is. She picks a handful of lines that hit really hard and then lets her changing vocal emphasis and the production do the rest of the work.
As much as I love this though, I think it is my least favorite of the trilogy. All 3 are fantastic, but Goldenheart is still my fave album. It is the most cinematic of the three and I think function the best overall as an album. Glad she moved away from working exclusively with Druski though. Part of the fun of her discography is never knowing what kind of soundscape she might use.
