Not really. You think too much about views as if its important. And yes those people will watch the video again.
And Apple supporting her is good - giving them this exclusive. You dont know the deal they made.
And on top of that they actually get money from the video. It will still get millions of views when its on YouTube anyways.

I can't at y'all actually saying Hollywood is better than Interscope rn. They are looking for long term success for Selena and the album, not just a quick top ten hit and then a tour to finish out. If this were Hollywood Records the era would be ending in like a month, lol. Y'all need to be looking at the future, not the present. We don't need SOL to have big numbers to start because it's going to be big later. I mean, just look at these radio updates so far. Look at its iTunes position. Interscope knows exactly what they're doing. That's why GFY is her most successful radio single thus far. That's why it's her highest peaking song on Hot 100 right now. The song being an A+ definitely helped its case, but the label has a lot to do with its achievements. & it was basically confirmed by Selena that GFY wasn't meant to be a big lead single, but it just kinda took off on its own. Selena wants REVIVAL to be big. Not just get a hit and move on to some film. So chill out. Dang.

The video version was Selena's idea, as stated in the Behind the Scenes video. Shame on Interscope for giving Selena the freedom to do what she wants with her music I guess? & like Selena stated in that interview a few pages back, GFY wasn't mean to be a big hit. It was basically a buzz single. She said if things had went as scheduled then they would already be moving on to the THIRD single. So I'm sure if GFY had done as they expected SOL would have come out earlier and would have received promotion.

Interscope ALLOWED Selena to release the song. They didn't like the idea at first but gave her the freedom to make the final decision, something Hollywood would have NEVER done.

We have Alan Carr, this Live Lounge thing, there are rumors of her being on Ellen the day of the album release. Plus isn't there a UK Revival Event coming up?? I'm sure she'll perform there too. It's not televised but these Revival Events are great promo.

Not y'all acting like is Interscope fault not promoting on awards shows, tv shows.etc that's up to the MANAGER not the label, Label is the one sending the song to radios, promoting in on ads, giving exposure to the song, booking performances and shows is up to the manager.

Interscope's part has been more than AWESOME. Her greatest hits so far without even her promoting it, do you think it reached that position alone? lol

The fact that they promoted GFY so much without even them wanting it to be released as the lead... the fact that SOL could be a GFY 2.0 because they were already thinking about the 3rd single.
