Am I seeing this correctly? Did Carrie's team submit TBC AND SYA to Country solo performance at the Grammy's? Why the **** would they do that? That's such an amateur, bad move. You never submit two songs to the same category by the same artist because all it does it split votes and ruin the artist's chances.

They submitted GG and BA for RoTY/SoTY/Country Solo/Country Song/Short Form MV last year.
That is literally the dumbest thing ever and if she doesn't get nominated it's their fault.
Honestly, It worked last year so I'm expecting at least a nomination this year.
Her label isn't that smart, a few years ago she submitted There's a Place For Us for Pop Solo Performance and not Best Original Song Written for a Motion Picture.
I mean I'm glad it worked out but it's not because of their strategy that's for sure. Maybe just one song was overwhelmingly a favorite over the other. But it's so not a good idea to risk that.. ugh.

In this case I think Two Black Cadillacs will be much favoured over See You Again.
Her label best submit Two Black Cadillacs for Best Short Form Music Video, I mean.. that's probably her best shot this year.
Unfortunately (?) it seems like Carrie values artistic freedom with her albums higher than awards/actually getting nominated for something she deserves winning/getting any sort of back up from her label.
