Dolce & Gabbana were forced to remove this ad because it was causing public outcry and so much trauma in rape victims who saw it and were reminded of their rape. Sadness, heartbreak, shame and depression were rehashed because of one little ad they saw in a magazine or on a billboard.

Just because it doesn't explicitly show rape, doesn't mean it's not implied or alluded to. Rape victims were hurt by this. It brought back traumatic memories. This video would have done the same thing and it would tarnish Gaga's image with the general public even more. And her image in the general public right now is suffering enough as it is.
