I may be wrong, but she's probably the only major popstar from her generation that has a 360 deal + she has a good reputation as a performer+ in the case of the Asian leg, popstars rarely tour there, sometimes it's easier to shine when there's no competition.

Rihanna can do this. She had what 10 O2 dates on her last tour, all of which were sold-out.
That's 200K people who saw her show.

But she did sell out that 40% in less than 50 seconds, which is amazing.

To be honest, Rihanna is the most popular popstar (that's not Adele) in the UK - she could do Wembley Stadium for 5 nights, and it'd sell out each night.

No receipts, that's just how it works. Standard practice - Bon Jovi, Help for Heroes, U2, etc. all had the EXACT same thing. They're not going to bend the rules for Lady Gaga. Believe it or not, she's not the biggest event of the year at the stadium lol.
