Performance wise, yes.
They both put alot of energy into their performances.
Even though Michael has had more iconic moments,
that doesn't really take away from that fact that Beyonce is a good performer as well.
I believe she is close to it. She is creating history with her career and everlasting memories, moments, and impressions in music and pop culture. And she's only 30 with no signs of slowing down.
Beyonce is HANDS DOWN the BEST performer out of this generation (The Girl can SLAY a stage,Bring it back to life, and SLAY it AGAIN just for kicks) so I don't take any offense when I see people say that Beyonce is the next MJ
Be is amazing, but they are very different....for me everything MJ did musically and performance wise was direct from his heart...you could feel him and that's why millions and millions of people love him around the world...his impact in people is unbeatable....there were better singer than him, there were better dancers than him, there were better musicians than him....but he has that special touch that only comes from heaven...Michael was just unique...when an artist is capable to make it's own standards of how things are made, then you are that special person, you don't need comparison, because there's no one to compare with...when you don't have to look up....when you are just you...when you are one of kind.
Michael Jackson was a phenomenon and is the most popular musician in the world. Nobody knows who Beyonce is in my country except those hardcore music enthusiasts.

Basically.
I think she has the work ethic and the performance ability to potentially match him, but she's not at the point where hundreds faint at even the sight of her.
Technically she's perfect, but she has yet to channel that perfection into unforgettable pop culture moments like MJ.

....no. There was one and only one MJ, and there is one and only one Beyonce.
Agree with this...
And again...Michael attraction wasn't about his technics, in fact i think Beyoncé and other artist are better trained than Michael...way more....i can only describe it as something magical he has...he simply captivate public with just one simply move...moves that mostly were created by him...he was doing his own thing....and people simply love his essence.

Well...the Mowntown performance when he did the moonwalk for the firt time he was in his 20's and in his second solo album, young...it was a very simple performance not paraphernalia, his only presence was a worldwide impact for itself...til today, that's how special he was.
No. Her, as a dancer, isn't a fourth of what MJ is, and her choreography isn't as demanding as MJ's. Her stage presence and stage command isn't as strong as MJ's. There's a lot more to performing than just singing and dance, which is what many of you fail to recognize.
The only person that has ever given MJ hell performance wise was Janet.

I think not. She has yet to record a good song, make an iconic video, go from black to white and be recognized Worldwide. So no.
THE THREAD IS ABOUT PERFORMANCE SKILLS

That's a personal opinion, "Single Ladies" , I don't understand what you mean by this, and she is recognized worldwide. And none of this has to do with her performing skills which is being discussed at hand.
