Some of you are acting like this election is a stan fight on ATRL. You all want Hillary to "drag" Bernie? That's not how you win elections! Why are my fellow Hillary supporters mad at Bernie/his supporters? Hillary has already won. We have to focus on Trump and win Bernie's support. Politics cannot afford petty stan fights. I understand this is a music forum, so everyone might be a bit facetious, but still for the sake of seriousness we need to work together.

Reagan won the youth vote, yet that same generation voted for Bill Clinton 8-16 years later. It's more that fiscally conservative people don't vote at all when they're young because they aren't paying taxes. Young liberals have more of a reasons to vote than young conservatives. College debt, getting a job out of college, and social issues are all things that are directly impact. Young people also realize they are going to have to deal with the burden of long term problems such as climate change.

Free love white teenage liberals from the 60s and 70s are now staunchly Republican. Perhaps it's a myth, you're right, but on the other hand I don't see how we assume that these people won't change ideologically either.

Donald Trump is has been saying very openly racist and sexist statements. That is not what the Republican Party is about. We are not openly racist or sexist. We imply it. Through years and decades of policy.

People don't see the intersectionality of economics and race/gender/LGBT. I legitimately fear Rand Paul and Mike Huckabee's tax plan than all of Trump.

BoB's are stupid!!! I love Bernie and I do not like Hillary at all. I still would want Bernie to be the Democratic nominee, but it's just not going to happen! Give up! Move on! Please unite under Hillary! She's the most qualified person out of the ones left to be president. Stop protesting her and give her your support, then protest her while she's in the White House to pressure her to push policies that you prefer.

I just cannot understand why you would support Bernie (far left) and then support Donald Trump (right). Why were you supporting Bernie in the first place? "Anti-establishment"? And now that's why you want Donald Trump? Is your "anti-establishment" worth tearing apart the lives of 11.4 million immigrants in this country? Is it worth tearing apart NATO relations for the US? Is it? Is it worth allowing a fear-mongering orangutan to run this country?

I am not pleased with Hillary, her scandals, or her past. But I fear Donald Trump. I fear for my friends and family, many of which are not citizens. I respect those who choose to vote for a third party candidate, but recognize that your vote won't do anything to prevent a Trump presidency, and the implications of what that means for so many in the US and even those overseas. Four years of Hillary is a small price to pay for avoiding Donald Trump.

I fully support open conversation with rational Bernie supporters like Mike; I won't, however, tolerate vague, pseudo-intellectual "THE SYSTEM IS RIGGED THEY'RE OUT TO GET US" musings from people who likely wouldn't have voted even if Bernie HAD won the nomination.
