Sis don't go twisting my words like I'm hating on the video or anything. I'm just saying I highly doubt she's supposed to be an alien. If she was, they would have referenced it much more and done more than a streak.
The video had a lot of Rocky Horror Show references, so you you can say she was alien.
Does anyone have any theories about why they digitally stretched her face in some parts?

The way I interpreted it, was that a body snatcher from another planet was trying to take over Brit's body. Which would make sense if you listen to the chorus.

Oh ok I see what you mean. Sorry for the freakout
I still think she is supposed to be some sort of alien in my opinion. I could be wrong, but I'm gonna stick with that until Britney or someone involved with the video says different
''So this video was totally symbolizing her rise to fame with all her music videos playing as she was raised up in the dress, then when she fell back down, spraying the paint everywhere, and the joker smile was her breakdown and trying to act happy, and THAT AWESOME FIGHT SCENE was her fighting the bad parts about her away, and becoming herself again.''
You people sometimes. In "Womanizer", she didn't dance enough, now she's dancing, but it's not good enough?? How about you pick a medium and just live with that instead of hyping her beyond belief.
The video was good. Not as epic as "Womanizer", but it's a good video. I'm happy with the dancing she did and the choreo., though not memorable, was good.
It's their GO-TO excuse sis to come up with whatever they can to make them believe what they believe. We know their underlying intent and objective. Just enjoy the party and let the wallflowers enjoy their boring songs.
This video is most definitely not video of the year. It was decent at best. There was too much going on at once. And for the average person they would get lost and not understand the concept. Maybe it doesn't need a concept, well it needs more than visuals. And thats all it provided. This video had no storyline, the dancing was just meh...I really expected more from Brit Brat with the dancing. But NO SHADE I feel like Brit feels the pressure. Other gerls come out with these songs that have lets say generation defining videos....I feel like Brit is pressured to keep up and that she tried to pull another Toxic.
This video is mediocre at best and I like the song and wish Britney the best for this new era.
Anyway, I didn't think this was so bad in the grand scheme of videos. Really liked the production design and camera placement/cinematography... but that editing.
Why did they talk up the dancing so much, too? I feel like they showed more dancing in the "3" video, even, but maybe my perception is off.
