If they're dead set on pushing When Love Hurts as the radio single then I think a good remix could salvage When Love Hurts. The verses and pre chorus are pretty damn good. The chorus is just a bit too much of an anti climax.

This is exactly the caliber of material I wanted from her. I thought everyone was overhyping it way too much and it wouldn't live up to expectations, but it just completely floored me.
