I'm gonna make a real effort to follow through with this season, I usually just watch the first two episodes. The last one I legit watched all the way was the one in 2012.
I don't get why people think they would cancel the show because two contestants died (that sounded very blunt, did not mean it that way) but It happens a lot, it happened this year with The Bachelor, it's happened before on Paradise Hotel 2, The Bachelorette, etc. They continued to air the show. Usually during their elimination episode (if they did get eliminated), during the end credits they pay tribute (i.e. "In loving memory of ...").
The only time it's ever happened in reality television that they ended up canceling the whole series was when Ryan Jenkins of VH1's 'Megan Wants a Millionaire' ended up killing some beauty queen and he was on the loose. They ended up canceling the spin off that he was on 'I Love Money', despite them filming, promoting and was ready to air.
That was ridiculous they could of just refilmed the season and found another cast memeber
I thought they always did Real World and the Challenge at two different times? Like once one ended they would do the other..
Also omg I didnt know this was so soon. I'm not even going to be able to watch the first episode because I'll be out of the country

Nah, typically they'll air The Real World for a season and once that ended The Challenge started. But the ratings for TRW aren't so hot so maybe that's why, lol. 11, though, is just a weird time; the ratings for TC are going to suffer.
AYTO aired at 11? I guess that's why I don't know the show lol. I thought Catfish aired at 10?
One of the seasons of Cattfish aired at 11 and had good ratings, then they changed the time slot. So did the first season of AYTO, they thought it would be a flop but it ended up doing good. Season 2 was a flop though.
And by good I'm talking 2-3mil. I read on vevmo somewhere that renewal numbers is .9 thousand and MTV is satisfied with that nowadays.
