Yeah, I definitely remember it being #1 on iTunes after the album was released.
I looked it up, and apparently the video was released at the last week of February. That would place it just before the single peaked a few weeks later on radio. On iTunes, it was #9 the day the video was released, the next day it went up to #7, but that would've been the same time "We are the World 25" and "Baby" free fell after their debuts. It did go top five two days after that. I guess that means it did help a bit, but not a lot.
It was fun looking through old iTunes threads to get that information. A lot of people talking about how "Telephone" was going to explode, "When I Look At You" was going to smash, BEP was going to take Hot 100 #1 replacing "TiK ToK" and people getting into a fight about that. Wow. Memories!
