i really don't like lists like this.
for some people this list is in a pretty close order to what they think are the best songs, but for others this list makes absolutely no sense. idk what is the qualification for being on this list and why older songs pretty much take up the entire thing.
^ The generation length is 25.2 years in the United States as of 2007 and 27.4 years in the United Kingdom as of 2004.
Beyoncé has been active for 15 years. Kurt Cobain started 23 years ago, and U2 have been active for 34 years and still are. Michael Jackson was active for the last 46 years. And Gnarls Barkley has been active for 7 years now.
So technically all of these are from the same generation. She is not the highest from her generation, but she is the highest female.
