Thanks for the comments! The DD stanning, the Aisha stanning and the low-key Kalafina one
No update for today since I fell asleep and couldn't do hundreds of tasks for uni. And I'm not sure if I should drag some albums next because only 2 have no redeeming qualities.
Thanks for comments! The end is near (there also be some minor things after the top 5).
10. YULIA - Gogo / This Weekend
Japanese Gaga has decided to follow in her American counterpart's footsteps and shed away her electropop persona, giving us something RAW in return. Well congrats because she kind of made it unlike the other and I'm giving her efforts a shout out here (not to mention that I've bought ALL 6 versions and this spot originally belonged to something else, but that song was a mess anyway, see you in HM). WE'LL GO HARD TILL WE GO HOME
9. Wonder Girls - I Feel You
The mothers of the modern k-pop are back and better than ever and slaying everyone. I was so SNATCHED after the first listen I thought the song was too good to be true. Honestly, a lot can be said about this modern classic, including the HOTNESS the girls served in the MV. It flows so well that you don't feel the end or any time limits and want to rewind it once the godly choir becomes silent.
8. Ayumi Hamasaki - Many Classic Moments
SLAY ME GODYUMI, WHEN WILL NAMIE, UTADA, GLOBE THEMSELVES? NEVER
7. AMIT / a MEI - A Bloody Love Story
I'm still trying to figure out what the hell is this song about with its many layers and the captions in the MV using my rudimentary Chinese skills, but the sheer brilliance of this is that you don't even have to speak the language. Her delivery explains and shows it all.
6. EMI MARIA - GIRL LIKE GANGSTA / IN YOUR T-SHIRT
Let's throw in some HOLY MARIA again, shall we? The punch she delivered with these 2 songs remains unrivalled and unbothered this year. Ugh. "I don't need fake friends". Who the **** does? RELATABLE QUEEN.
