I might be wrong, but I'm not sure that I've seen anyone in this thread claim otherwise. I also don't think I've seen anyone in here praise Gaga as a 'great' dancer. She can dance but she's far from stellar and that's okay - she has other, more important, more impressive skills that more than make up for it.

In her prime, Britney's dancing and choreography was pretty great, yes.

Gaga isn't in the same gen as Pink, Beyonce, Britney, Xtina, JT and Usher.
Gaga is in the same gen as Kesha, Rihanna, Katy, Nicki, etc and is the best of all of them in her gen.

Undermine?
I think she is the 3rd best performer after Brit and Bey and The Monster Ball is just amazing&one of my all time faves.I said those things in this thread.
But I am undemining her because I think Britney was a greater performer?

I advise you to rethink this comment. I've seen many performances of Janet singing live. And even when she lip-syncs it's prerecorded and very convincing, just like Bey's.

Yes. I see you nitpicking and criticising Lady Gaga quite scathingly for being a far-from-great dancer, yet I don't see you mentioning Britney Spears' shortcomings - this automatically renders your side of the discussion unfair and unjust, in my opinion, but whatever.

Majority of her performances are lip synced - she did inspire Britney after all. And she's a good dancer but that's it, in terms of pure entertainment and grace as a performer Katy is far better.

Well both of you are stans so obviously I'm not going to change your minds  I just think it's very easy to overrate legends, when Katy inevitably becomes a legend in the future people are going to start overrating her abilities as well, it's just the way the cookie crumbles

Katy Perry knows how to put on a fun show and had some great production on her last tour but I personally wouldn't label her as the ' best'. She's definitely entertaining and interacts well with her audience, though.
