Obsessed didn't even NEED a performance to go into the top 3 on iTunes and if want to compare them, Mariah came back after the whole American audience lost interest in her (IBLULT, ISIL, BB). And since Leona had such a HUGE fanbase to outsell E=MC^2, she couldn't even crack the top 40 on the Hot 100?

Don't get me wrong. I love Leona, but you really have to stop this hating. Leona, Beyonce, J Lo, and Lily Allen will NEVER touch Mariah in album sales so just **** off and realize how much of a legend she is. 19 #1s, 170 million albums sold worldwide.

And IWTKWLI is going to be a massive worldwide hit, trust me.

(Btw you were calling Obsessed a flop and here it is hitting the top 10 and you, being delusional went on about it not being top 10 in other countries? Come on. It wasn't even released in the UK and due to HYPE people downloaded it off a remix album or something and it went to 52 and 15 on the R&B chart.

Sorry Honey but Happy was released on i-tunes even before the radio release! Obsessed was released 3 weeks after the radio release. It's natural to sell more if you repress it a bit. Happy was available immediately. It's gonna jump soon.

Everything I write here is based on facts. Find me one country that Obsessed was a hit. Just one! Only in the US. All the inernational female artists out there like Rihanna, Lady GaGa etc chart high in more than 30-40 countries. And MiMi cannot chart anywhere! At least, touch my body did OK worldwide. But the other singles from e=mc2...

Not even. "Obsessed" had the same peak as "KGB" but Christina just dropped right off the charts after a week. "Obsessed" has stayed in the top 20 for like 10 weeks. Give up.

I don't know if you agree with me or not but the only thing I'm sure about is that MiMi is obsessed with the charts. She makes music for the charts. The only thing she cares about is the US charts! E=mc2 and Memoirs are full of US smashes but for some reason they chose again a bad second single(when I say bad I mean not made for the US charts) and they mess up the whole era.

"Obsessed" was not a major hit worldwide, however it peaked Top 20 in several countries and Top 10 in a couple so also not a big flop at the same time. Obviously it could have been bigger but the fact that it can reach #14 on the worldwide chart after "Bye Bye", "Lovin' U Long Time", and "I Stay In Love" BOMBED is pretty good. "I Want To Know..." is getting great reviews and will do really well, I figure. Everyone is loving it because it's really Mariah. It's not the generic or corny stuff of E=MC2.

As for this topic...

It's hard. "Happy" is pretty terrible. Corny. Generic. All the likes of Ryan Tedder's productions. It's just disgusting. Unfortunately the UK will love it because it's Leona. Gah. But I don't think it will be as big as "Bleeding Love" or long as last. For the competition, I think Mariah could pull it off if she went and tried to.
