I do not think so, I love her but NO. She's just being what a performer should be like.

Vegas is a small venue, for all intents and purposes, and it wouldn't surprise me if her performing capabilities were hindered as a result (for example, she constantly looks down at the stage and appears to blink uncontrollably while performing - a habit she didn't exhibit prior to Vegas).
That said, her recent performances on Valentine's day showed a level of confidence I hadn't seen for quite some time. She seems to have re-kindled her inner flame, and hopefully it'll only grow from here.
She's capable of being a truly fantastic performer, I just wish she would remember WHO she is.

So you're saying that someone who has intense anxiety would feel more comfortable performing on a bigger scale for more people? Why is that?
I don't think her performing ability depends on the scale of the staging. Wasn't the Femme Fatale tour arenas?

Y'all would drag Britney even if she pulled a 2000 VMA-type performance again. She's happy and so is her bank balance, her fans are also proud of her. We win

I value good spelling as much as the next, but why are you making this personal and attacking any spelling mistake Lethal has made? This thread isn't " Lethal serves Webster's Dictionary level spelling." so it's entirely invalid to the conversation and reveals a lack of argument.
Also you may want to look at your own spelling before going after someone else's. "Criticise" is spelt wrong. But I'm sure that you're aware that this is the internet not English class. Mistakes can be made without it being a big deal.

Criticise is spelt with an S instead of a Z in the UK and considering I live in England, I'm not wrong.
No, my point is valid. How can you insult someone for something you think they should be better at although you can't do something you should be able to.. like spell simple words correctly? Why enter this thread with a bitter attitude expressing (once again) how delusional you think Britney's stanbase is instead of saying nothing and exiting a thread obviously made to cause a stan war and get Britney dragged?

The audience is much closer to Brit in Vegas than they ever were for FFT, or TCSBS. It's the only explanation I can figure as to why she constantly looks down at the stage, and is always blinking. I feel like it's a tick as result of the smaller venue, and the audience being so close.
With a larger arena, I feel there's less pressure to make eye contact with everyone in the audience, and instead perform comfortably under the security of a more expansive venue.
Regardless, she does appear to be suppressing that anxiety, but it's been over a year coming.

I agree. Although FFT wasn't anything special, she looked much more confident on stage then.

Whoops sorry about that I didn't know about the UK spelling.
Anyway, you can insult someone for something you think they should be better at even if you don't do something perfectly yourself if those two things are unrelated, which they are. In this case it's fine for you to say that Lethal should proofread, but that has absolutely no value for this conversation because it doesn't relate to Britney. Using your example, how can anyone ever criticize anyone else, unless they are themselves perfect?
The fact remains that Britney is getting paid LOTS of money to be on that stage and the one thing she's actually doing aside from showing up is dancing. Thus, if her dancing is not as good as it should be, it's fair game to comment on. Unless a poster is getting paid to spell correctly, attacking their spelling is just a petty remark. A personal attack will never ever prove your point because it holds no bearing on the topic at hand.

Do you ever drag Beyonce when she lip syncs on stage although she's getting paid to sing live? I doubt it. People know what they're getting when they go and see Britney... she isn't fooling anyone.

That's why I've stayed away from the base for over a year now. They praise the smallest things and call it legendary She's capable of doing so much better so I could never co-sign these mediocre at best performances that she has been serving us.

She could stand there and do nothing but twitch her pinky, and I would still be slated.

It's sad what she's become tbh..
Still.. Britney in her prime will ALWAYS be better than Beyonce as a performer

Again, you're moving off-topic to attack someone else instead of focusing on the topic at hand, which is not a defence at all but a desperate attempt at offence to gain some ground.
Do I ever drag Beyoncé when she's lip-synced? No. But we're comparing different things though. To start, nowhere in this thread have I dragged Britney for lip-syncing. I've mentioned it as a matter of fact. Secondly, Beyoncé occasionally lip-syncs but the bulk of her concerts are live performances, so to drag someone for doing that is a little different than dragging someone who's voice is consistently lip-synced since the early 2000s. Lastly, I only mentioning the fact that she only dances not because I think she's fooling anyone but because we are talking about.. you guessed it: DANCING. Thus if you're doing only that, you should be giving a great performance for that.
