I'll say this. As a 'femme' gay myself, if a 'masculine' man is looking for another 'masculine man' then it's a feminine trait thus not making them so 'masculine'.
Thats a bit of a stupid viewpoint if you ask me, if a guy wants to date a guy who acts like a guy then he has feminine traits?
It does not matter to me. But i do prefer more effeminate guys but the soft spoken and reserved ones. The same goes for girls, I don't like a loud bitch either.a
I like guys that are more masculine than me. I consider myself to be in the middle although people tend to think of me as masculine, but it's just cause I don't usually show my feminine side. With that said if I found an "ideal" guy that has all the features I'm looking for but is more feminine than me I wouldn't mind.
