The disneychannel.com showing of the High School Musical Concert has been moved to April 30th, and the Disney Channel showing of the concert is still on for May 4th

The shooting of High School Musical 2 will wrap up in one week, then Vanessa will begin recording her 2nd album!!!

Athough it is not 100% percent confirmed yet Disney is in talks of what is going to be planned for the High School Musical South American Tour. So far we know that it will happen between May 15-30. Also everyone is singned on to do the tour except Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. Zac Efron will not be part of the tour because of the promotion he will be doing for his new movie Hairspray. Vanessa Hudgens will not participate in the tour because she will begin recording music for her sophmore album. Replacing Zac Efron will be Drew Seely who also replaced Efron in the American High School Musical Tour. Mexican singer Belinda is rumored to replace Vanessa Hudgens. Belinda aslo starred in the Disney Channel Original movie "The Cheetah Girls 2". The rest of the cast seems to be signed on for this South Ameriacn Tour.

She told me her 2nd album will be more upbeat then V! After Ashley Tisdale released her's, she was like, "Oh no she didn't, mine sounds like a musical box compared to hers. Just watch it girl, I'm gonna make a hit CD that is bigger than yours. It will be more upbeat."
