I liked her first album it showed a lot of potential and I enjoyed Don't Hold Your Breath and Heartbeat. The club numbers were great, and the production was good. Amenjena is beautiful ..."I want to be done loving you. "You have mad me a new heart" "I have lost paradise in crying", but it is slow and over 5 minutes long, though it shows that Nicole can really sing. The record has a mixture of slow- mid tempo's (veering towards middle of the road tracks) and club thumpers. It feels like two albums merged together, but that could be because some of them are early recordings and it was pushed back so many times. So it's like sexual predator fast and electric Nicole vs old and dated romantic ballad Nicole.
I look forward to new material.
@ that picture.
I need to listen to AmenJena again. I didn't realize it was a popular KL track.
