But that study could be conducted by any biased Android user, or anyone trying to make Apple look bad, not to mention the fact that Siri was and still is beta software. If it was as bad as this blog-I've-never-heard-of is making it out to be, then there sure as hell would've been more backlash than the love it's received

It's obvious Apple leaves out features on older phones to make you upgrade to a newer phone. However, it's also obvious that the 3GS can't support certain features like 3D Maps because it lacks the processing power. iOS4 was a disaster for the 3GS because it made it incredibly slow. iOS5 fixed that, but its not running nearly as smooth as the 4 or 4S.

Your first excuse is completely BS. It's a fair study.

But yes it is beta. I just don't like how they advertised it like it was complete. But I'm hoping they can work everything out come iOS 6. IIRC, Siri will be in iPad as well.

What's the differences between the 4 and the 4s, beside siri? because I have a 4 and I feel like I'm missing out on something :/

In iOS5? The 4 doesn't have Siri, face detection in the Camera App, and Airplay.
in iOS 6? The 4 won't have 3D maps and some other minor things.

I hope the 0.8% of Android users are enjoying Jellybean. Most people are still on 2.3 which came out in 2010. MESS!

Maybe I should've said fragmented to an extent. However, that won't last forever. Apple will increase its screen size, that's when it starts. Also, not everyone has the iPhone 4, many of them are on older models. So over time it will happen.

And Jellybean JUST came out. And the people who have Gingerbread are using phones with a skin, The people who bought the pure Google phone (Nexus series) already have the update. If you want to play it real. Put the Nexus series (pure Google) against iOS and you see a similar rate of adaption to software.

But it will cause fragmentation. That means that not all devices have the same software they are using a unique one for each model. Isn't it fragmentation when a certain device can't run an app but another one can due to features like NFC? And also the original iPad isn't getting iOS6 but the 3GS is. And the 3GS has a very limited amount. Its basically iOS5.9

Adapters have to change their apps to fit the two devices. It will likely have higher pixels also. Because of the screen size.

If they aren't a software company why did they create their own skin to Android and make a voice recognition software? If i'm not mistaken, Samsung creates software for its phones that don't run Android. Gmail was in beta but for only a test group, they said it from the start it was beta. In fact Google has always said something was beta. And this is very rare. Apple never claimed it was beta UNTIL they started to get complaints. They just used that as a back-up. If they know its in beta why not say that at the release last Fall? Why wait until now?

iOS is just sooooo limited. It's okay if you don't really know how to do much with computers and just want something that's basically "plug and play," but if you really like customization and a full featureset, Android is the clear choice.

It really is. Coming from someone who has both an Android and iPad. I can do some much more on my phone than on my iPad. iOS is so simple, anyone can use it. Android is for people who know what they're doing.
