Maybe I should've said fragmented to an extent. However, that won't last forever. Apple will increase its screen size, that's when it starts. Also, not everyone has the iPhone 4, many of them are on older models. So over time it will happen.
And Jellybean JUST came out. And the people who have Gingerbread are using phones with a skin, The people who bought the pure Google phone (Nexus series) already have the update. If you want to play it real. Put the Nexus series (pure Google) against iOS and you see a similar rate of adaption to software.
