Well, with Beyoncé, when I watch DC interviews (the
Survivor era and before), she was a real bitch sometimes.
I think it's understandable as to why she was that way, tho, when you take into account everyone blaming her for LaTavia & LeToya leaving the group. A lot of the time she was always on guard and defensive during those eras. After
Crazy In Love dropped, she was a bit more reserved and very shy. All of that defensive behavior went out the window from then on.
When I was younger, I didn't really pick up on any if that stuff. I never hated her, tho.

Santigold.... I write us ass off as just another chick trying to be different back in '08.
I fell in love with her in 2010. I was so upset that I didn't give her chance in '08.

I never hated Kate Bush.
I was introduced to Kate Bush by Outkast's Behind the Music (or was it Driven) back in 2003, I think. Big Boi said he listened to her a lot. They played a clipped of
Running Up That Hill and it wouldn't be until 2010 that I actually heard the full song in the credits of
The Chocolate War. I kept wondering why it sounded so familiar. I read her Wiki then downloaded the
Hounds of Love album and fell in love with her. I finally realized I knew who she was because of Outkast mentioning her all those years ago.

The lovely Bat For Lashes....
I instantly fell in love with Bat For Lashes after hearing
Daniel back in 2010.
What's A Girl To Do was the first song I heard of hers and then
Daniel came after.
