Well, let's not say "originated" because that title doesn't really belong to either of them, but I will say Nicki definitely brought it to the forefront, at least in the black community.
And, all of that is subjective. Music in general is subjective to everyone. So, you can respect certain songs.. but because she makes some singles you don't like, that's enough to discredit her as an artist?
Music is a great way to express yourself artistically. There are people that love her as an artist and there are people that don't. Idky you speak generally like everyone hates her and is out to get her. Lol. She's not doing half as bad as Azealia, and you think she's critically acclaimed, right? How does that work? Lol.
