Also, let me just say, I don't mind Ah Yeah being sonically similar to Up & Down, it's a strategy heavily used in pop music and a smart one at that. Why would they go out of their realms, when a song like Up & Down is easily re-creatable and can still be really good. My problem is, there's a difference between emulating a songs success and creating a carbon copy and Ah Yeah slightly fares to the latter. I just watched the live stage and the choreo, the production with the horns, the distribution and the structure are just... they're practically same songs. Not saying Ah Yeah isn't good, but it's just simply not as good in it's own right, it's an issue for me.
A good song and something they can definitely do to get back into the good graces of netizens, but I kinda high-key want them to do a main-single-worthy version of "Rainbow"… Imagine them doing "Catch Me If You Can" choreo to something like "Rainbow" but still has that mainstream appeal…
I've never understood why people called San E "Rap Genius" until now. Lots of really interesting flows and voice changes.
he's under appreciated but he also could benefit from being more consistent or at least having full length projects to really flex his creative muscles with
