02. B.o.B feat. Hayley Williams “Airplanes”

Grabbing the runner-up spot is the smash hit by new rapper B.o.B and lead female vocalist of Paramore Hayley Williams for the song Airplanes. The song at first listen, I immediately know that it will be a big hit, and it is even one of the most popular tune for last year. To be honest, the memorable part in this song is the chorus part, Hayley's haunting voice is so perfect here. Her lines are unforgettable and this is why this song is so popular. B.o.B doesn't let Hayley took over as his lines are also powerful all throughout the song. As for the music video, I'm a bit disappointed as nothing expectacular about it, but that doesn't mean it made me dislike Airplanes. Airplanes is a hit worldwide, I never got tired listening to it and that's why it even made it to my #2 selection for the year 2010.

Finally we've come to reveal my #1 song for 2010 and it belongs to Eminem and Rihanna for Love The Way You Lie. This is the second time Rihanna had my #1 song as Disturbia owns my 2008 list, this time she is at #1 as a featured artist to this smash hit. I never thought I would like an Eminem song that much, I mean I like some of his classic hits but this is something about Love The Way You Lie that made me decide to let this be #1. Eminem did a clever job with his lines while Rihanna murdered every chorus part with the singable and unforgettable lines. Love The Way You Lie marks as the true comeback of Eminem, and it proves that he can still deliver great rap songs. And so, for the year 2010, Eminem and Rihanna owned my list with the worldwide hit Love The Way You Lie.
