I thought Melanie was gonna miss the Top 5 because of Little Mix, Fifth Harmony and Carly but thankfully she didn't Soap is one of my favorite songs of the year, the drop alone>>>. It should have smashed. Pity Party is amazing/relatable and I love the way she used the sample. Carousel's production is crazy, it's so unique and I wish it took off after it was used on AHS. Unfortunately those three singles are the best songs on the album and the rest don't live up to it. I love Cry Baby and Milk And Cookies but I feel like the album could have been better. Sure there isn't much filler, only about three or four songs but there's only a few 10s. I feel weird singing along to Tag You're It because of the lyrics Cake is a mess Teddy Bear is creepy but I kinda like it. Play Date is the only great deluxe track. Training Wheels is cute, I like the video. Sippy Cup grew on me but it's still a mediocre song. The songs I didn't mention are all good but they don't slay me like Soap, Carousel or Pity Party do Overall it's a great album and I love the theme but not one of my all time favorites

I was expecting Delirium to be #1 and when the album was released I thought it would be. It's not that I''m disappointed with Ellie, she definitely lived up to my expectations and delivered 2 of the best songs of the year (Love Me Like You Do and Keep On Dancin') and I love the album, but it's not on the same level as Halcyon and doesn't age as well as I thought it would. I guess it drags on for a bit towards the end, I took Outside and Powerful off my tracklist and have them under Motion and Peace Is The Mission. The era started off with one of the best songs ever and I'm really glad she put it on the album. The actual lead single was a big disappointment, I was so excited for it but once I heard it it may have killed the hype for the album. Once I heard the snippet of Something In The Way You Move I was excited again and the song turned out to be amazing. Same with Army, I love the two of them equally (even if it sounds a sort of like LMLYD). Thankfully it didn't leak weeks before its release date because I waited until the 6th of November to listen to it. I bought a physical and digital copy The way the Intro transitions into Aftertaste is beautiful Keep On Dancin' is in Ellie Top 3 best songs ever Don't Panic is another favorite of mine. Codes is like a better version of On My Mind. Around U is a cute song but a bit annoying. Holding On For Life is different from the other songs but one of my favorites. We Can't Move To This was my second favorite on the album on the first listen and it's still a bop but it didn't age as well as the others. Don't Need Nobody slays I used to dislike Devotion but it grew on me soooo much, I wish I put it higher but it only made it to #91 on the album tracks list Same with Scream It Out but it grew on me just in time so I moved it up into the Top 40. Paradise and The Greatest are my favorite songs on the deluxe edition, they're very underrated. Heal is a good song but a bit long and I don't love it as much as the others. Two Years Ago is so beautiful, it's so sad that I barely listen to it Ellie's ballads are always magical. Winner is Ellie's worst song, it doesn't go anywhere and doesn't have a nice melody or good lyrics, it's just very bland. Let It Die is kinda cute but also filler. I hated I Do What I Love at first and it's still a mess but lowkey enjoyable now As an album it's a kinda generic but that's fine, however generic songs usually don't age that well so Halcyon remains her best album.
Delirium is my 2nd most played album with 3.5k plays, 1k behind Warrior.

When I first bought this album I accidentally bought the standard edition and had to go back to replace it with the deluxe
People who only hate Halsey over her personality are missing out cause her music is magical It was really tough to pick the #1 album since I love both. I fell like the production on Badlands is more unique and original which makes me like it more. I don't care about lyrics too much but it's nowhere near as repetitive as Delirium. I still listen to this album a lot and there's only 1 song I son't like that much. I hadn't heard of Halsey until about a week or two before a member told me to listen to some of her songs. I got a link to the album before it officially leaked Colors was immediately my favorite, I love everything about that song New Americana is unnecessarily hated on here, I know the lyrics are bad but it's such a great song and that bridge>>>. Drive is another favorite, the production and the atmosphere in the song is incredible. I also love Hurricane and Gasoline Castle is the perfect opener, the choir before the chorus It has an interesting production. It took a while for me to start liking I Walk The Line but the second half of the song is wonderful. At first I disliked Young God but it's in my Top 3 now (and currently my most played from the album). It's so easy to listen to and the minimalistic production really works. Roman Holiday is a bit overrated I guess but it grew on me a lot, the bridge is my favorite part. I'm surprised Ghost didn't take off, the chorus isn't very catchy but the verses slay Strange Love is the opposite because the chorus is a lot better than the verses. Everybody wants to know. If we ****ed on the bathroom sink Haunting and Control don't stand out as much as the others but both are great Even Colors Part II slays tbh I'm not too fond of Hold Me Down. It's not bad but there's nothing about it that would make me love it. Coming Down is the only filler but even then it's still listenable. It's just a bit bland and uneventful. If wish she put Is There Somewhere on the album instead.
Badlands has 2.3k plays which places it at #6 on the all time chart
