WESTBURY ROAD ENTERTAINMENT
Started Westbury Road Entertainment with Rihanna as an existing label in 2013 with the same popularity as she originally had, and the same funds Roc Nation did ($120m). Two and a half years on, she releases her second album, but let's see how she did for the first era.
She sold 65 million records in her first era. Her debut single, Only For One Night, featured Jay-Z and hit #1 in every territory with the exception of Asia (#9), and was #1 globally. It's currently the 2nd biggest single ever (go **** yourself Bieber

), has sold 13 million copies WW and even won a Grammy award (Katy Perry hu?)
The album was titled after the second single, Shooting Stars. It was a global #1 SMASH, also hitting the #1 spots in the United States, Europe, Australia and Latin America. It has sold 9 million in total and doubled the sales of the 2nd biggest selling album worldwide. The album spawned multiple genres and the tracklist was as follows (all tracks on the album were produced by Stargate):
1. Acting Out (Robyn Fenty)
2. Only For One Night (featuring Jay-Z) (The Dream)
3. Maybe It's Just Me (Ester Dean)
4. Shooting Stars (Jay-Z)
5. Untouchable (Ester Dean)
6. Rosé (The Dream)
7. Wild and Free (Sia)
8. Soulful (Sia)
9. Lifestyle (Ester Dean)
10. Starlight (Robyn Fenty)
11. Summer Wind (Ester Dean)
The title track was released as the second single. It became Rihanna's 2nd global #1 single as well as her 2nd #1 single in the USA and Australia. It received the award for Best Dance Recording at the Grammys and sold 11 million copies worldwide.
Maybe It's Just Me was released as a Summer single in 2014. Once again, it became a #1 in the USA and Australia, and on the worldwide charts too. It was even still #1 on Christmas Day (ha longevity). It became the 2nd most successful single from the era having sold 12 million copies.
The power ballad, Acting Out was released just before Christmas. It became Rihanna's 4th #1 hit in Australia, as well as a #1 in Latin America and Canada. It underperformed in the US due to MIJM smashing at the time, peaking at #7 and selling just short of 4 million worldwide.
The fifth single was released quickly after Acting Out. Rosé became her fourth #1 single in the USA, and a #1 in Canada and Europe. It sadly stopped her from getting five consecutive #1s in Australia, as it peaked at #2. It exceeded all expectations and sold 9 million worldwide.
The final single was released alongside the Summer Carnival USA. The single was released worldwide but only a music video was served as promotion. As a result of this, the single hardly sold outside of the USA. Second Wind became Rihanna's 5th #1 single from one album (tying Katy Perry and Michael Jackson) and sold just short of 6 million worldwide.
Rihanna embarked on three tours during this time; a promotional tour Only For One Night in very small locations, the 2015 Summer Carnival (which ended up being cancelled due to
MWR glitching... low attendance) and the mega-smash Shooting Stars World Tour, spawning 3 legs and grossing $133 million from 92 dates.
Rihanna has recorded and is planning to release her second album, Creatures of the Night, late November. The album features collaborations with Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, and includes six songs written by Rihanna with top quality scores (100%). The album takes a more grown-up approach but once again spawns multiple genres. Again, all tracks (except from the title track which was produced solely by Lady Gaga) were produced by Stargate. The current tracklist is as follows:
1. The Right Time (featuring Katy Perry) (Katy Perry)
2. Rock Out (Rihanna)
3. I Know You Now (Rihanna)
4. Dance in the Dark (Rihanna)
5. Red Blooded Woman (Rihanna)
6. Heartbeat (Ester Dean)
7. Drive On By (Katy Perry)
8. Say It Again (Ne-Yo)
9. Rhythmic (Rihanna)
10. Forevermore (Rihanna)
11. Creatures of the Night (featuring Lady Gaga) (Lady Gaga)
The lead single for the album is The Right Time (featuring Katy Perry). It was released at a worldwide scale one week ago, debuting at #4 on the worldwide charts. A US release is planned for the upcoming week, and the track was met with great reviews. Will Rihanna sell another 65 million records this era?
