How high could his album go?? Could he sell over 250k? It seems like "Blurred Lines" has really increased interest in him and isn't just smashing independently as a song, removed from its performer, the way say "Call Me Maybe" did.
I don't think Robin's album has been doing good in pre-orders, so I don't think 250k is in the forecast. I hesitate to say 100k+ with the fickleness of single buyers, but I think that's safer -- 100-125k.
His last album sold 41,000 in its debut week, so I'd put a guess around 100k as well. I don't think the single will translate into that many more buys.

Anything over 120k would be great for him. 145k would be his highest flrst week sales ever. His last album only did 40k+ in the first week. We'll see if Blurred Lines made people interested in Robin Thicke, or if they're just interested in Blurred Lines.
They are doing good. No promo outside US. No radio support. What did you expect?
Plus you have to wait. They are not done, they are not very known yet.
Unless Robin upset some housewives with his "rapey" lyrics and video, that is some big promo for the housewives crowd that could pull in bigger than expected numbers (most here expect 100k+). If he performs something like "4 The Rest of My Life" on The View (which should happen if he doesn't just want to focus on one single), his sales could shoot up.

Is it confirmed that he's doing Blurred Lines for all of those appearances later this month? I think it would be a great opportunity to debut/release a second single from Blurred Lines the Album.
