The whole step-brother ordeal and BLY avoiding him because of that hurt him so much, so he kidnapped him. GH is basically crazy in love with BLY and will do crazy things for him.
And BLY clearly likes GH and really misses GH from the moment he told GH to 'get lost'. It's obvious in the scenes before the kidnap thing. However he's not as readily accepting of the gay thing like GH is, most guys would probably be like that, whereas GH doesn't care that BLY is a guy in comparison.

GH went to look for his maternal cousin (i.e. mum's aunt's daughter) to share his troubles with her. Excerpt:
"What's the matter?"
A slight arrogance shows on GH's charming face. It was as if the line that he was about to say next would bring him lots of pride and recognition.
"I like a guy."
Fang Fei's eyes almost pop out of the car window.
"No... Xiao Hai, stop fooling around. Tell me the truth..." Fang Fei spoke illogically and her hands move across GH's strong body non-stop, "How could you be 'that'? Look how manly you are! Pick one guy randomly from the street and he won't even be as manly as you."
GH gave a cold smile, "Perhap I have way too much male hormones. The usual woman can't satisfy me."

GH finally told Fang Fei his worry. That is, "BLY is not accepting him, even though he think BLY is interested in him." Fang Fei introduced her gay friend to talk GH. She left them alone to talk. Excerpt:
"You mean he allows you to stay at their house and doesn't avoid sleeping with you on one bed?"
GH nodded, "Yes, our relationship is good and close, like I said earlier. But, he just doesn't let me touch him and he doesn't admit that he likes me."
"What's there to admit?" That guy smiled, "Hasn't he admitted already?"
GH's eyes focused on his lips. He liked what that guy said.
"Since he has heard your confession and showed no signs of repulsion, nor any signs of expression, it shows that he has accepted it silently. Think about it. If you are a guy with a normal sexual orientation and a guy confesses to you, won't you have fallen out with you? Will you still allow him to stay in your house? You will avoid him as much as you can! Of course, I am not saying that he's abnormal, but what I mean is that he has already accepted you. Who knows? He might have seen you through long ago. He might be just pretending and playing with you intentionally."
"Actually, I understand what you are saying. But, the problem is..."
"He doesn't let you touch him?" The guy finished GH's words.
GH stood up and shook his hands.
"Actually, this problem is sticky. The key is you."
GH awaited for his words of wisdom.

GH squinted his eyes slightly.
