I think it's because there is something very self-victimizing about the approach of Gaga's tweets. Had it been Rihanna, she would have dragged them without having to bring her life or family into it. Gaga tweeted as though she is trying to scare the big bad wolf out of her village. But it's not even that serious.
Not to mention, if you're comparing her to Rihannas meltdowns; when Rihanna decides to stoop on Twitter/instagram, she doesn't put on a front. She doesn't unnecessarily villlainize("shot in the head part") the person she is dragging to make it seem as though she is on higher moral ground. That is where Gaga has gone wrong. She should have stayed off twitter.
