NASA's projections on climate change are very alarming to the welfare of mankind but you don't hear them saying we will be dead by 2100 do you now. This is scaremongering, misleading and frankly offensive to suggest all black men with HIV will infect another person, a black person.. none of the wording in the article suggests white people are able of infecting blacks.
50% sounds like.. lies. Can someone explain to me why HIV is more prevalent amongst minority races (without being racist) please?
it's a lot of things, but a lot of has to do with education and accessibility. black people are disproportionately impoverished in america (for a litany of cultural reasons), meaning a larger percent of gay black men aren't getting proper sex education in school compared to white gay men and a bigger proportion can't afford to take the proper safety measures.
I definitely agree. Unfortunately, though, you still never know. My ex had HIV and lied about it and I didn't find out until I was told by somebody else and it was too late to confront him for lying to me about it. I'm currently negative but have to get retested in the spring and I'm so scared.
You can press charges against him as it's illegal in most states for HIV+ people to not disclose their illness to their sexual partners. Good luck!

Hmmm....this is alarming and I don't know how to interpret it. In general it is gross saying that because a person belongs to those groups he automatically must have HIV However it is important to address the social and psychological factors for this and educate people about sexuality

I would've made him get tested before having sex. I knew my ex-boyfriend slept around with strangers on Grindr, before having sex, I made sure he got tested and show me the results before even kissing him. Your health is more important than the D. I hope your test goes well
