Poor Rita!! That's why we have never got her second studio album I really hope she can change her label without much difficulties!

Now I see also why Alexis Jordan (she was signed to Roc Nation in 2011 when she released her self-titled album) hasn't released anything but only her debut album like Rita! And also Kylie Minogue parted ways early this year with this awful label! Well, let's not talk about how they're handle the ANTi era! Shame, Roc Nation is a ****ty label!

If it's one thing I've seen Roc Nation won't do is handholding. All of its successful artist (J. Cole for example) have an independent drive and talent that lets them do their work on their own terms. I think even Rihanna signed to them looking for this kind of freedom (hence why she hasn't been forced to release an album or single and is going at her own pace), but it can be too much indirection for some people who need more guidance.

Rita never had anyone in her corner from RN like Rih does Jay Brown. Not TyTy, not Emory, not Oscar.. Nobody cared for her enough to push her career in the US

Jay Brown has worked alongside Rihanna since Def Jam so Rihanna is going to be fine with or without RocNation as a label. She's a well established act for 10 years now. Even if **** hits the fan with this album she owns her masters recording, has her own label, & can still get major endorsements/gigs…. she's good.

They were definitely marketing her. She also would've had the album out had she'd not been busy cheating on Calvin.

the deals/opportunities she's gotten now are because of her celebrity/name recognition and networking. obviously her past deals have had to be successful for them to offer her more.

Those opportunities were not their doing, it was all her sister's marketing skills. I hope she sues his ass and wins.

But they are not her management team, she is managed by a british company and her sister. RN is only her label, the only job they have is to put her album out. And please they suck ass as a label: Shakira, Kylie Minogue (she left), fefe dobson etc.
