I think the video will keep Alejandro floating a while, plus she's not rushing into a 4th single as far as we know. So she might be able to have a longer run. It's still planned no new single until first single of new album, right?

Drug was marginally ahead on both airplay and sales but bks posted on pulse that Alejandro jumped from 10 to 1 on streaming so it must have had enough of an advantage there to make up for the sales and airplay.

Well, I already comment you in the BB thread but just so you know, Streamin' isn't a big factor in the Hot 100, only if the gap is really really small it can help, so I dunno, I said it once and I'll say it twice, FISHY.

Streaming isn't automatically set to factor as __% though. It depends on the amount of streams, and given that Alejandro was #1 on the chart then it could have been super high.
It's not like we haven't seen something like this before. On the last week of ESoM's run at the top then Bad Romance was ahead of Tik Tok on both sales and airplay but because its streaming was ****ed up then TT was able to overtake on the Hot 100 because of its lead in streaming.
I know streamin' counts and sometimes makes a difference but that's not the only thing that bothers me like I said in the other thread .
Well ok then - if you think that it was more likely for Interscope to pay Nielson Soundscan to rerun an entire chart and make a big thing like this (which as you said can arouse suspicion) rather than just getting a few radio stations to spin it a few more times then be my guest
You know that's not what I mean, it's just fishy, that's all and like I said, it's a shame she didn't get it without this cloud shadin' above it but no matter what, Alejandro deserves that Top 5.
