well in the 90's talented people didnt need sex to be and remain popular. in 1994 our cultural perception on popularity would still be wholesome and that means that whitney would have had the most stans.

Mariah would be Taylor (success=stans).
Whitney would be Beyoncé (premier Black female artist of the day).

Celine would be Adele (pre-21, of course).
Toni would be Cisus (urban act who can't quite hang).
