Imagine respectfully sharing an opinion online then having a group of them verbally attacking because they FEEL your statement was offensive..

Last night an animal lover told a bunch of people that they and their children should die because she felt some type of way about people killing house rodents.

But if that different opinion is harmful and toxic and the said person can't see it then that is ignorance.

But that's the problem SJW tend to rely on emotions instead of logic. Any statement that makes them feel some type of way = ignorance. How can I believe they are right when they can't explain their reasoning and resort to ad hominems?

Ex: "I disagree with abortion (minus cases of rape) and I feel that if both men and women used birth control simultaneously, then the need for abortion would drastically decrease."

For me what's most offensive how condescending a lot of them are. As if minorities need white people on the internet who just regurgitate what they learn from their sociology professors to stand up for us. Its a bit strange how some are more offended about cultural appropriation for example than people of the actual culture being appropriated.

a) It's distressingly common among SJWs in particular, as I've just demonstrated, and

1) You haven't demonstrated anything. You literally just posted a couple examples. You could post a couple examples of literally any group of people on the Internet doing anything, but that doesn't make it "common."

2) "Social Justice Warriors" aren't a monolith. Not all people who believe in social justice and/or fight tooth and nail for it on the Internet believe in the same things. The concept of a "trigger warnings" isn't something that's all that widely embraced in that community and every group is bound to have its crazies and its extremists who threaten people who don't believe in what they do. They shouldn't speak for the entire group.

And unequivocal respect for all people is not a core tenet of social justice. Some people don't deserve respect.

Except that the extremists are who I'm talking about. I respect the hell out of people like Malala Yousafzai, Stephen Fry, Laverne Cox and George Takei because they campaign for social justice issues without being assholes about it.

Social justice is fine. It's social justice warriors that I hate.

And unequivocal respect for all people is not a core tenet of social justice. Some people don't deserve respect.

But nobody deserves death threats. Wouldn't you at least admit that much?

The ones I hate are the ones that find some viral meme with someone's face and text on it ("these kids bullied my son at school, reblog and get them fired from McDonalds!") and reblog it and comment and spread it without a second thought, without doing any independent research, without bothering to verify. I generally dislike anyone that believes whatever they read without questioning.
