My MK game trinity: Armageddon, Deception, and Shaolin Monks.
I know Armageddon flopped with no "real" fatalities, but the story was really cool imo. The KaK system, while broken, was a really cool feature! I loved spending hours just making different characters with different niches, like keeping distance, being really quick, having strong combos, etc., and the glitches in the game, like the also-broken air combat system, added a lot of replay value to it. Trying to perfect doing the glitches (I remember being soooo happy when I finally got Sub Zero's impale glitch to work!) and, my most favorite of all, practicing combos! I'd spend soooo many hours just practicing combos with different characters.
I see the other 2 are getting love in here, so I won't explain those.
