Does this mean she isn't leaking the album? The 'sued' part seems to allude to that.

umm easily when you show your ass over and over and you know you insult big players in the industry, the white men running your label and only make the media for being a hot ass mess. You're tripping if you think her being a mess on twitter didn't play any part of her label shelving her

The label has the best interests of the artist at heart as well. I'm sick of all these "record label vs. the artist!" debates. It's completely ridiculous. Money and good music aren't mutually exclusive. Good music makes lots of money. Bad music doesn't make as much money as expected. It's not like you can create music that won't sell well and won't please the general public and then go "no, it's perfect, you're just a greedy record label trying to squeeze money out of me." The record label is there for a reason. They KNOW what will sell. They KNOW what will be a hit. They KNOW how to promote an artist and get them the most success possible. The more money Azealia makes, the more money the record label makes.
It's not a "versus" thing, and I'm sick of people making it like it is. Record labels and artists have the exact same goals and interests at heart. Record labels are experts at this. If Broke With Expensive Taste keeps getting pushed back, it's no one's fault but Azealia's. Apart from her horrible attitude/work ethic and unprofessionalism, you can't even understand what she's saying on her songs. And when you finally do look up her lyrics, they're "hip the dip, the sip sip, to my lip, then my hip, the flip flip, sip, what chu gon do? trip, on my nips? my nip nip, sip, sip the lip then dip." *
*** To the people who got annoyed at me for repeating this "flip the dip" comment I made in Azealia's thread, deal with it. Not everyone visits there and this is my first time making that comment outside her thread.

But we don't all like music that "will sell". That's the point. It's based on the general public which Azealia cannot make music for. And it's not the reason we fell in love with her.
I think the label invested too much into her, by 212 it should be clear she is not a pop girl. Don't act as though you would be happy if Azealia released her own Starships.
Nicki has the power to get back her rap following through a plethora of features, Azealia does not. They just need to let her take control at this point, like she did with FANTASEA. The label don't even like Luxury and many were stanning for that as her best song.
I just want new, good music (in the same vein of 1991/Fantasea) as we all do.

Could force them to pick their act up.
Or it could go the opposite way, things go very sour & Azealia goes through a JoJo.

It's her fault.
I feel for ha, but if she wasn't so messy.
Yung Rapuxel and ATM are horrible compared to anything on Fantasea. I'll still be buying BWET if it ever comes out.
Also does she think tweeting this will make the situation any better?

I loved Azealia and her EP and mixtape are amazing. But she's become such an insufferable person. It's clear to see that the delays are due to her being difficult to work with. If she was just a nice person, maybe she'd have had her album out when it was supposed to be what, a year ago? Two?
|
This is true. At least Iggy and Angel were nice with their labels and had a release date. Iggy waited hers out and it benefited her because she changed her album direction and now has a budding hit. Angel was impatient and tanked but at least her music is out there and it would have been if she waited too.

I feel so bad for her, she's literally stuck there and there's no way out. I also feel bad for the fans that are waiting for music.

They don't want her to see success elsewhere. That's why they aren't dropping her.

Her additude and personal life have ZERO to do with her label. All publicity is good. If anyone has any info please inform incase I may be wrong.
AB is signed/based overseas (UK), yes?
That was not a smart move on her part. She thought because 212 did so well that fan base would keep her going. The UK based label doesn't know what to do with the American girl and scared to let her go because what they don't understand another label does.
Now, haters no one is doing it in the rap game besides Nicki STILL.
Iggy has her album (no ones here for)
Angel haze (Ha)
Katie got bandz (nah son)

Maybe if she had a single with Disclosure she could promote, we'd have the album. Or if she gained word of mouth from collaborations with Kanye West and Lady Gaga, we'd have the album.
She needs to look in the mirror and stop blaming everyone but herself for her problems.

I dont feel sorry for her at all. The label shes on wouldnt be treating her this badly if she didnt act like such a dick all the time, and get bad publicity. They probs dont wanna release her album because it wont sell well AT ALL anymore.
She thought she was the 'female kanye'
