Because the vita is doing fine in Japan, and this probably won't get released over here anyway like the last 3-4 digimon games didn't.

But the last few games have been for PSP, which is still current in Japan, but not outside of it.
The 3DS version of Re-digitized still is under consideration for a WW release (but the 3DS flopped compared to the PSP version though so it's kinda messy). But we won't see the PSP games. I'm just grateful for Digimon Masters.

But Digimon games usually get English Patches anyway, so it doesn't really matter. I prefer the Japan voice acting than the horrible English dubs in the games anyway

They just uploaded a new Patch that has a fair amount more done on it. It's a massive game, so it's going to take a bit longer. But it should be finished by at least July I think.

Just let me fume that they didn't release the last digimon story game over here for the DS, ok
