So, take the James Blunt formula and pretty much perfect it a bit and you've got James Morrison. Songs are worthwhile and really do not seem sappy. Great to listen to while studying (I know, random connection much.)

Comments: I've always really liked Lifehouse, and sure they're not about to win the most creative band of the year award, but they do what they do pretty good (which is making hooks that you'll want to sing along to.) More uptempo than their other releases, it's nice to hear a somewhat different sound to them.

Comments: Not too different from their last release, they just went crazy with the synthy electro pop that was kinda present in their first CD. In the end, the album is probably a much much stronger release.

Comments: First thought after listening to this CD, WTF? On second listen, this is kinda cool.... On third and subsequent listens, wow this is awesome. It takes time to "get" it but when you get it, it's awesome. Definitely give this a try.

Comments: I remember some people saying that they pretty much sucked now, so needless to say I was shocked when I heard their album. I really liked it, maybe not as good as their debut..but awesome nontheless.

Comments: It's no secret that Mel C is probably the most talented of the Spice Girls, but this album is just at another level. It's an album that really should be recieving American notice. Hell, it's just second to her first album (which is amazing) She leaves me wanting more, that's for sure.

They deserve to be on this list simply for the brilliant way they handled this album. It really should serve as precedent for future releases. Anyways, but it's on here because the music is good. Not as random and out there as some of their most recent CDs but still cool.

Comments: Elliott really really should have been the one to win AI5 but well he didn't, however he released a CD that's better than the top 2 so I guess that counts for something. His voice is just awesome and I love the style of music.
